I don't know about your area, but there are several excellent sites that spotlight space age homes. http://www.seattlemodern.comThis site is updated weekly with 10-15 new listings around the Seattle area. It's simply breathtaking! http://www.emodernhomes.comThis site is updated less frequently but is not area-specific. http://www.jetsetmodern.comThis site does not post new listings, but has from time to time articles on modern architecture and landmarks. I'm sure there are other resources but I felt the above were really nice places to start on the web. We need more sites like them. Matt

Just keep your eye out. Find a good real estate agent that you are comfortable with. I've found several homes in my area (south texas), but out of my price range. I've sometimes considered comercial buildings as well. My desire is more mid century than space age, but the same still applies.
Good Luck, Kevin

Hey Matt,
Those are great resources...and the exact same ones I recommended to mrs. when she e-mailed me last week. You are right in that there should be more resources like these.
I also suggested contacting local real estate agents asking to see 50s/60s "ranch" houses and those in the "california contemporary" style...those seemed to be the buzz words that gave our agent some idea of what we were seeking. Otherwise they just show you all this contemporary muck!!
In fact when we bought our house from the original 1956 owner she said that it was marketed as a "California Contemporary" when she originally bought the house. And when we bought it, we were even able to convince her to leave the George Nelson string clock that she originally received as a housewarming gift. We knew we had found the right house!!
