Hi afrutkin, This is simply a question of personal taste so given that you will have to live with the choice, use chairs that you like and find complementary to the table. The Jacobsen chairs would work as would the original Planner Group chairs or other McCobb design chairs. Even Eames DCM's or DCW's would work here. Since the original chairs that match the set have wooden legs that splay to match the table, my preference would be to stick with that if possible...but decorators will mix and match and there is no shortage of dining chairs from the 50's that would look sharp with a McCobb Planner Group table. Some links to check out - McCobb Planner Group Dining setMcCobb chairs from the Calvin seriesAnyway you have lots of options so the best bet is to check out all the sites and shops in your area and buy what you like. That almost always will be the decision you will be happiest with. Good luck! ...and let us know what you decide upon. Barry Bryant GOMOD.COM :: bringing modern design home
