I have what I hope is a "Gerald Thurston for Lightolier Table Lamp." Would someone please verify if it is, and if it is not, tell me who designed it?
It looks a lot like the one in the attached picture. I will send actual photos if needed. Mine is a 22" tall Lightolier table/desk lamp with a sleek almost ochre-colored* plastic stem on a brown metal (stainless steel?) base, white plastic lamp shade, with a flat, round, white, metal top that has ventilation holes, which also serve to diffuse the light. The holes are big enough for the tip of a toothpick to be inserted into them, but I doubt the entire toothpick would be able to pass through them. The three-way "on, on, on, off" switch is located about 2" below the bottom of the shade. The top of the shade is 12" in diameter, the bottom is 18." It is in good condition. The stem says, "LIGHTOLIER PL 8878;" the "on, on, on, off" switch says "LIGHTOLIER."
