Hello from Dallas. My family has been in the antique business for a long time and as a result I have been slowly developing an interest in Mid-Century Modern furniture (which by definition is not antique yet! Lol) I currently babysit and admire my sister's Kent-Coffey Perspecta bedroom set (because her cats are not kind to her furniture) and own 4 Erik Buck Bar stools. My collection has recently grown to include some United Furniture Corp. Dining chairs (1926) which are in excellent condition. Unfortunatly, I don't know much about them except Cabell Philpott owned United Furniture Corp. and he was the son of a Bassett Furniture board member. The company burned down in a major Lexington NC fire in 1936. Lol I hope I can find out more about them!
