Hi Fellow mod collectors. I am a collector, dealer, and investor. So I am like many of you. I buy many pieces, hold them adore them and sometimes let them go. I have had an eye for mod furniture when the houses in this area where still being decorated in slate blue and mauve country style. The style caused me pain. I would go to the thrift shop and buy Vera scarfs to hang on my bed room walls for wallpaper. My Eames lounge chair I bought for $50 the 3rd day of an estate sale I ran across 10 years ago and a picked several pieces up by the side of the road, saving them from the garbage! The building of lofts in the swanky down town areas has added both competition and appreciation to my collection. And now when peers visit they see neat, worthy furniture that has had showings at the major museums in town. Instead of feeling sorry for me for not being able to afford new furniture LOL.
