My name is Retrovixen and I just found the GoMod website. I was trained as a costume and decorative arts historian, specializing in 18th-20th century design. My personal favorite styles of clothing, furniture and decorative arts is the Mid-Century Modern style. I especially love the fashions of the '50s and '60s, including the New Look and their polar opposites, the Mods, and furniture of the '50s.

It's great to have found an online community that shares my interests in modern design.
