Hello All, I'm new to these forums and looking forward to reading you.
Out here in dry rural NSW in Aussie, there isn't much cool designer stuff to be found - it's all ugly practical stuff and worn out too so, I'm on a quest to find some specific items:
Working black videosphere for less than $290; a reasonably priced Keracolor and possibly a panasonic eyeball.
Hmm, I'd also love an original Nutting's Computer Space if anyone has one just standing around by chance and is willing to part with it for a reasonable price - Let me know.
Oh, my particular hobby/passion is old Korean animation. If you ever see or come into contact with a poster, tickets or even a TV guide with reference to the broadcast of a Korean cartoon in the 70's, 80s or 90s, let me know and I'll make you an offer.
I loooove gaudy plastic... it's absolutely fantastic and I find I have a strange umm, obsession with white spherical objects which relates back to me watching 2001: A Space Odyssey far too many times as a child. No, it's not a fetish but if I go on a date with a chick and we go to a restaurant with white orb lights hanging from the ceiling, I find I'm fixated on the fixtures rather than her!
Toot-a-loop, Alex
