My husband and I recently inherited a DUX chair and ottoman set that looks like items designed by Folke Ohlsson. The existing upholstery is original - an orange burlap-esque sort of fabric. We'd like to reupholster it in a neutral color to match our interior decor, but are concerned that it will lose value if recovered...is that the case? Please help...we are newbies with retro modern pieces!

Hmm, well i personally would not reupholster, but if it doesnt fit your interior decor, it doesnt fit your interior decor, i would sugguest selling it and getting what you need(in the right shade/colorway) or storing it for its centimental value. Just a little advice from another mod newbie
