I am looking for cool funky mod furniture but were can I find brand new pieces!!!! I love this kind of furniture style but dont want used furniture!!!!!the places im finding this type of style only have vintage stuff.Can i find a place that copies that type of style?. There are plenty of shops that sell vintage reproduction and vintage inspired furnishings. Also, there are many new designs with great modern lines.
Check out our SHOPS area and visit Mode MOderne, Circa50, retromodern, Unica and Daniel Donnelly and you can find both vintage designs, as well as new production items.
We love that stuff too! It's rare to find those "name" pieces. Around here in Sarasota/Bradenton we occasionally luck into a find now and then, no name brand but very cheap from Goodwill and places like that. There are plenty of antique and furniture stores, but you will pay good prices for those desirable and collectible pieces.
My best advice is head UPSTATE. Do a B&B getaway and search Main St. So much cheaper than the City for nearly everything (but still compare dealer-to-dealer up there too). But bring a truck so you can carry back your purchases. I just learned this the hard way this past week.
