The wood is very nice condition. They are not teak. I think they might be maple or beech and have a darker brown stain/finish. There is some slight fading of the stain on the arm rest areas, but otherwise they really look great. The cushions and the foam are in great shape. The prior owner screwed a board to the one of the seat pans of the chair (probably to use in lieu of the straps), so there are 2 or 4 small screw holes on one of the chairs, but they are hidden by the cushions. I also have one matching ottoman that has no cushion that I would throw in.
