Between me and all of the visitors to GOMOD we probably have seen almost every modern design item available on the Web. If you are looking for a specific item or product let us know and maybe we can help you find it.

I'm thrilled to have found this modern design community, and I've been looking for something for awhile. Perhaps someone can help.
Does anyone know of a color chart featuring popular colors from mid century? I know the colors when I see them, but feel I need a color chart when I go to the paint store.
I'd really appreciate knowing where I might find such a chart.
Thanks a million, Sheila

Glad you found us! Actually, we just launched the new design this past Friday so the Message Boards are new. I am glad to see that people are using them.
A few months back I did come across a page that showed popular colors throughout the 20th Century...it was great and I am sure that I thought I would remember where it was when I needed it, and of course I do not. ARRGGHH!@
Anyway, maybe someone else has seen something similar and can help us out here. I will keep thinking and perhaps recall where I did see that.

I am looking for metal furniture legs. Specifically the style used in the Modernica Case Study daybed/bed series. Where can I find a company that is willing to sell just legs? I have found resources for the Eames base collection but that is all.
Thanks! gary

According to Mary Gilliant, stark white is the predominant wall color for mid-century decor. Her book, "Period Style" puplished in 1990 by Little,Brown and Co. has paint swatches for all periods. Alas, for modern she only uses Art Deco color swathes. Terrific book!
