The Domestic Animals collection of furnishings was produced as a special collection by the Zabro division of the Italian firm Zanotta in 1885-86. All of the pieces from this collection were manufactured on a limited basis only and none are currectly manufactured. While few pieces were manufacted, they do show up in design auctions, usually in Europe. Houses such as Phillips, London and Sotherbys, South Kensington (London) are good places to look. You might also try contacting Mr. Wolfgang Maurer at www.galerie-objekte-maurer.de - an outstanding dealer of Italian Radical Design objects. For further information about this collection you can view an online exhibition at www.banaldesign.com/ideas/ex-branzi-1.html or look for the out-of-print-catalog "Domestic Animals" through www.abe.com.
