Hi everyone. New to the boards. I am looking for a "mod furniture junkyard". In my estate searches I come across some interesting furniture that may need a fix. Right now I am looking for the "Burke" Saarinen knock off of the tulip chair base. I have just purchased a whole set in very nice condition and unfortuneatly one of the chair bases had a crack and was welded. I need to replace that. Also looking for 2 feet glides for the Mr chair Mulhauser, just aquired 2 of them at the same sale. I need a white plastic foot for a Herman Miller side chair and a philips head screw for the ottoman of a plycraft lounger. I want to keep everything as original as possible and thought maybe you good people could point me in a direction. If there is none, someone sure should start one...hummm... thanks, Cindy
Great bargains and excellent pieces can defiently be found at estate sales. A friend of mine buys alot of pieces. I will ask him if he knows where you may be able to get parts.
You didn't mention any certain area you live in. Would you be looking for a place online or close to you?
