Hello,

A friend of mine has an eames lounge chair knock-off that is in need of repair.
The back brackets have come off of the chair back shells.

Is there a way to remove the leather cusion from the back shell, re-attach the arm bracket to the back shell and then put the leather cusion back on the shell?

If any one knows how to do this repair, I would greatly appreciate how it is accomplished.

on my knock off, there are screws on each of the cushion panels (on the back, on the wood). When you unscrew those you are able to pull off the cushion from the molded plywood back.

when you get the seat cushion off then you are able to screw or unscrew the arm rests, and also when you have the other cushions off you will be able to re attach the back brackets.
