Hello, wondering if anyone would know how to repaint the white Bertoia chairs that I have acquired. The paint is chipped off and shows some rust. What would be the simplest way to go about this?

Probably the easiest way would be to spray paint them. I'd use a primer first with a rust inhibitor.

I bought 10 vintage bertoia chairs and hired someone to spray paint them. Turned out awful. I only realize now that they should have been powder-coated. I'm in San Francisco and there are a number of people here if you look on local google. You need someone who knows how to strip them first.

I have heard that you can't powdercoat them because you can't remove the rilsan coating. Has anyone sucessfully powdercoated these chairs? I just bought 4 myself and am trying to figure out what to do!
