I am trying to find a fairly decent vintage (or newer) replacement cover for a 1947 'Bird Chair' by Harry Bertoia. Knoll wants 700 bucks just for a basic cotton duck cover, not including the ottoman. Does anybody know if there is a paatern available, or where I could find one cheap?

I need one too. And I need to find a welder who can fix the basket. Does anyone have experience in getting the welding done right? Then there is the matter of painting it black.

Knoll has their yearly sale usually in May. Don't know how quick you need it but you might check to see what the discount is at that time.
