Hi, I have an eames fiberglass sideshell and one of the shockmounts has detached from the chair.

Anyone have any advice as to how to remount it?

Araldite and strong glues do not bond properly between the rubber and the fiberglass. I've tried everything I can think of!

Is the grey paste that is used on the other mounts generally available (I am in the UK) or is there another alternaltive.

I have heard that Herman Miller will repair these for a nominal fee but since you are in the UK I imagine shipping cost would be prohibitive. I would suggest that you contact them and ask for their suggestion as far as an alternative.
