What you have here is just a plain old fun piece of furniture. I have typically heard these referred to as Wave Chairs and expect they are from the mid 70's. Not a designer piece but believe it or not I have had many people request these. I used to sell items in a 20th Century collective in Washington DC and they would sell for around $750-950. There was actually a waiting list of folks looking for these...the neighborhood surrounding the store was a funky young community and it was exactly what they wanted.
