Hi, I've got 4 eames shell chairs with la fonda base and bright orange inside fabric. I guess they are the folow up from a original series made specially for a restourant in NY by charles Eames in the mid'60s. I think they were produced in USA because at the bottom of each chair the label "henry Miller" still remains. The chairs formerly belong to a big design studio in Eindhoven (from who I rescue them!). besides the need for a general clean they are in perfect shape. Does anyone can help me with more data about this chairs? and also would like to know how much they worth.

Your chairs look good.....I sure you could get some good money for them......Maybe 200 - 400 dollars... But it all depends on who wanted them at the time.....

Your Eames chairs for Herman Miller would sell for up to around $500 each according to Micheal Glatfelter at Mode Moderne.

There also is a very similar set of chairs posted at this site located in Switzerland. After doing a currency conversion it seems their chairs are priced similarly, at around $525 USD each.
