I had an earlier post that I asked for help identifying. I put Herman Miller as the possible manufacturer, but I meant to say Heywood Wakefield. I've spent many hours trying to find out info or to find a set like it with no luck. Please give any help that you can offer!
I do not believe it a heywood wakefield. I have the identification book cataloging productionn from the 1940s-the mid 50s and nothing similar appears in it. Although the color is right, there were a lot of companies at the time that were producing similar work and this set looks too blocky (heywake rounded almost all their corners like there was no tomorrow) But here's one way to be sure. Take a look at the table top. If it is Laminate or Veneered hardwood chances are (95% of the time) it will not be Heywood Wakefield.
Thanks for your help comicgeek. I can't find out anything about this table and chairs. I went ahead and listed it on ebay as Drexel Heritage or Heywood Wakefield style so I'll see what happens. The corners on the table are rounded and the top may possibly be veneer, so your probably right about it not being Heywood Wakefield.
