Hi Alicia,
That looks like a Majestic lamp to me....that is a wooden base right? Many times Majestics can be identified by the label which sometimes can be found on tape that usually is underneath the green felt usually found on the bottom of the lamp. There were other companies that created similar designs but Majestic lamps seem to be of better quality and more unusual design. Many collectors lump all these together though and refer to them as "majestics" no matter who manufactured them. All of them are composed of brass and stained or painted wooden pieces. One brand...not sure the name... (not Majestic) used metal bases. Shades were in decorated fiberglasss or plastic.
The bad news is that lamp shades for these can be very very hard to find and since the shade is so crucial to the overall appearance of these lamps the value on a base such as yours may be around $50-100. Complete lamps in great condition can start at $250 and go up based on the uniqueness of the design.
The specific style you have should have two cone shaped shades that flare out. Of the 4-5 models of this lamp I have seen they ALL have had burned shades because people put bulbs in them that have a wattage that is too high for the lamp. In complete restored condition with original shades your lamp might sell around $350.

Hi, I recently sold a pair of similar looking lamps on eBay. I have no idea whether or not they were majestic... but I figured that you might get an idea on what kind of shades your lamp may have had. You can check it out here: link

And actually here is the exact same lamp. It is sold but you can see the original shades...although these were burned, which seems to be the norm for this specific lamp style. (I think the shade is too close to the bulb to take anything over a 40 watt bulb) Barry Bryant GOMOD.COM :: bringing modern design home
