I have an oval pink cracked glass formica table with double tubular chrome edges and a double hoola-hoop chrome base. I can't find images or information anywhere on anything like it. I found it at a thrift store and it shined up really nice. I'm just curious if anyone knows where I can find information on these tables and how much they are worth.
Just as you found, these do show up fairly regular at Thrift shops, flea markets, house sales and the like so that keeps the price down. Although new reproduction formica dinette table sets go for $1000 or more the vintage ones seem to only bring a few hundred...seemingly the more pristine and unusual the design the more desirable the set. I have seen these in retail shops for up to $750 but then again the same sets were there a year or more later. $250-500 is a more reasonable range, possibly more if a very unsusual version, probably less if in poor condition or in a less than interesting design.
