| Hi kaston,
Yes, that appears to be Pierre Paulin's "Tulip" chair for Artifort designed in 1965. I believe that they actually continue to manufacturer that design today, although I don't know if the base comes in colors now - I know it comes in polished aluminum (looks like yours is green in the pic..was this painted later or does it appear original?)..either way it looks great!

| On the original Artifort website ( http://www.artifort.com/) you can find the next info: As if Pierre Paulin has premonitions of the Plower Power: the Tulip. Half blown this characteristic flower spreads her leaves under the seating furniture. Inviting as well as cherishing. There is a dignified high Tulip and an elegant, low "Little Tulip". Together with the footstool a speaking and very comfortable combination. Pierre Paulin, 1965. The chair on the foto doesn't exactly look like yours, but it comes very close. Mayby you could post your picture to the Artifort website and ask the expert. By the way, I live in Maastricht about 2 minutes walk from the old Artifort factory ... |

| My impression is that the chairs pictured on the Artifort website currently are the dining chair version. Looks to me that the image posted above is probably the same design in a lounge chair...not 100% sure but seems correct.
