The metal disk tag says "GLENN" with "Carson" and "California" around the perimeter. Do we all agree that the top should be smoked-glass and that this is c.'70? Is "Glenn" an incarnation of "Glenn of California"? Carson is not the location for G. of C. according to my 1971 book and tags on older G. of C. stuff that I've seen always use the long version.
I believe your assumption is correct. I have a credenza that is clearly marked Glenn of California, and believe that their furniture is marked in this manner, and would not be "Glenn". However, maybe someone has more info and knowledge? Charles

Right. How old is your piece? Here's my tag from inside the stash drawer. The plinth base and general style read as Milo Baughman, to me. He did things for G. of C. I have done a pretty extensive esearch and I go through old auction catalogs like they're holloween candy. anybody have a good Milo book?
Upon review of my credenza. I was wrong about it saying Glenn of California. The tag is like yours, however, instead of Carson it says Arcadia, otherwise it's the same tag. Sorry... I'll have to reseach my piece as well. I thought mine could have been by Greta Magnusson Grossman? I do not have a date on the piece? Good luck.....

Glenn of California was in Arcadia, 1971! They were in the design show at the Pasedena Museum of Art that year. I got my info from the show catalog. Greta Grossman's style, for the most part, is pretty legible. Got a photo? You may do better to make a new post for it. Does anyone know when G. of C. was in Carson?
Sorry it has taken me years to find this topic and try my best to answer.
Glenn of California was my grandfather and then my father's factory, making what was then referred to as "Danish Modern" furniture. The company began in Arcadia, California and later my father moved the plant to Carson, California.
For much of the 10 years I worked there, it was my job to purchase those little black disks you've found in the top lefthand drawers.
