Those are pretty amazing looking figurines. They remind me so much of Marc Bellaire's Mardi Gras figurines but as far as I know all of his designs were handpainted and signed. The styling is very similar however. I presume that these also have the same holes on the back for some type of stand to hold them up? Any marks at all that you can see? Are they bisque or unglazed or just painted white..it's hard to tell.

They have a clear glaze over white clay. No paint on these and yes there are holes in the back to hang them and they are hollow. I don't remember what the holes look like. I'd have to go back and unpack them. No marks whatsoever. I have to add that the photo does not do them justice. There is alot of detail and the hat brims are as thin as a penny or quarter. There are no chips or cracks at all so I packed them up to keep them safe for now. Thanks for the Bellaire link. These do look very similar to the Mardi Gras figures.
