Can anyone identify this chair (maker and manuf. date) and give me an idea of its value? I have a pair and the dark teal colored upholstery is a bit dirty and loose along one arm but not torn. The frames are in great shape.

That is Warren Platner designer chair for Knoll. Yours appears to be the dining/side chair from the image. You can still buy them new as Knoll has them in current production but they run around $1500 each. Vintage ones can be found for much less... perhaps around $250-300 or so.

Thanks, Barry. By the way ... the chairs are very comfy to sit in. Now that I think of it, alot of modern seating I have encountered has comfort as a feature. Anyone else noticed this?
